أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلْکَسْبِ

احمد بن عمرو بن سرح، ابن وہب، یونس، ابن شہاب، سعید بن مسیب، ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا قسم سے مال تو فروخت ہو جاتا ہے لیکن آمدنی مٹ جاتی ہے (یعنی برکت ختم ہو جاتی ہے)

It was narrated that Qays bin Abi Gharazah said: “We used to trade in the markets of Al Madinah and we used to call ourselves As-SamasIr (brokers) and the people called us that, but the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came out to us and called us by a name that was better than what we called ourselves. He said: ‘merchants (Tujjar)! Selling involves (false) oaths and idle talk, so mix some charity with it.”(Sahih).
