أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَی بْنِ خَلَّادِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي صَفِّ الصَّلَاةِ الْحَدِيثَ

علی بن حجر، اسماعیل، یحیی بن علی بن یحیی بن خلاد بن رفاعة بن رافع زرقی سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نماز کی صف میں تشریف فرما تھے آخر حدیث تک۔

It was narrated that Abu Al Muthanna, the Mu ‘adhdhin of the Jami’ Masjid, said: “I asked Ibn ‘Umar about the Adhan and he said: ‘At the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم the phrases of the Adhan were recited twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once, except that you should say (the phrase) Qad qamat i (prayer is about to begin) twice. When we heard ‘prayer is about to begin’ we would perform Wudu and go out to pray.” (Sahih).
