أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ صَلَّی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ حِينَ تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الصُّبْحُ

ابراہیم بن ہارون، حاتم بن اسماعیل، جعفر بن محمد بن علی بن حسین، جابر بن عبداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نماز فجر اس وقت ادا فرمائی جس وقت آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو علم ہوگیا کہ صبح کا وقت ہوگیا ہے (مطلب یہ ہے کہ صبح صادق کی روشنی نظر آگئی)

Humaid narrated from Anas that a man came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and asked him about the time of the ub prayer. The following morning he commanded that the Iqamah for prayer be said when dawn broke, and he led us in prayer. The next day when there was light he commanded that the Iqamah for prayer be said and he led us in prayer. Then he said: “Where is the one who was asking about the time for prayer? (It is) between these two times.” (Sahih)
