أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّی بِطَائِفَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ رَکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّی بِآخَرِينَ أَيْضًا رَکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

ابراہیم بن یعقوب، عمروبن عاصم، حماد بن سلمہ، قتادہ، حسن، جابربن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے صحابہ کرام کی ایک جماعت کے ساتھ دو رکعات پڑھ کر سلام پھیرا۔ پھر دوسری جماعت کے ساتھ بھی دو رکعات ادا فرمائیں اور سلام پھیرا۔

Jabir bin ‘Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم led his Companions in offering the fear prayer. One group prayed with him while the other was facing the enemy. He led them in praying two Rak’ahs, then they went and took the place of the others, and the others came and he led them in praying two Rak’ahs, then he said the Taslim. (Sahih)
