أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُکُمْ إِلَی الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ

محمد بن بشار، محمد بن جعفر، شعبہ، حکم، نافع، عبداللہ ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے خطبہ پڑھا تو ارشاد فرمایا تم لوگوں میں سے جس وقت کوئی شخص نماز جمعہ کے واسطے جانے لگے تو اس کو چاہیے کہ وہ شخص پہلے غسل کرے۔

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdullah (from ‘Abdullah) Ibn ‘Umar that while he was standing on the Minbar, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever among you comes (to prayer) on a Friday, let him perform Ghusl.” Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: I do not know of anyone who followed Al-Laith in this chain, other than Ibn Juraij, while the companions of Az-Zuhri said: “From Salim bin ‘Abdullah, from his father” instead of: “Abdullah bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar.” (Sahih)
