چند آدمیوں کے گناہ کی وجہ سے ساری خلقت کا تباہ ہونا

عَنْ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِکُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ إِذَا کَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ-

حضرت ام المومنین ام سلمہ نے کہا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کیا ہم اس وقت بھی تباہ ہوں گے جب ہم میں نیک لوگ موجود ہوں گے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہاں جب گناہ بہت ہونے لگیں۔

Malik related to me that he had heard that Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Messenger of Allah! Shall we be destroyed while there are people who are salih among us?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Yes, if there is much wickedness."

عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَقُولُ کَانَ يُقَالُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَکَ وَتَعَالَی لَا يُعَذِّبُ الْعَامَّةَ بِذَنْبِ الْخَاصَّةِ وَلَکِنْ إِذَا عُمِلَ الْمُنْکَرُ جِهَارًا اسْتَحَقُّوا الْعُقُوبَةَ کُلُّهُمْ-

عمر بن عبدالعزیز کہتے تھے کہ اللہ جل جلالہ کسی خاص شخصوں کے گناہ کے سبب عام لوگوں کو عذاب میں مبتلا نہ کرے گا مگر جب گناہ کی بات اعلانیہ کی جائے گی تو سب عذاب کے مستحق ہوں گے ۔

Malik related to me that Ismail ibn Abi Hakim heard Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz say, "Some say that Allah the Blessed, the Exalted, will not punish the many for the wrong action of the few. However, when the objectionable action is committed openly, then they all deserve to be punished."
