عرفہ کے دن روزہ رکھنے کا بیان

عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ نَاسًا تَمَارَوْا عِنْدَهَا يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فِي صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ هُوَ صَائِمٌ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لَيْسَ بِصَائِمٍ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِقَدَحِ لَبَنٍ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ عَلَی بَعِيرِهِ فَشَرِبَ-

ام الفضل سے روایت ہے کہ کچھ لوگوں نے ان کے سامنے شک کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے روزے میں عرفہ کے دن بعضوں نے کہا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزے سے ہیں بعضوں نے کہا نہیں تو ام الفضل نے ایک پیالہ دودھ کا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بھیجا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے اونٹ پر سوار تھے عرفات میں تو پی لیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کو ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'n Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah, from Umayr, the mawla of Abdullah ibn Abbas, from Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith, that she was present when some people were arguing on the day of Arafa about whether the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was fasting or not. Some of them said he was fasting, and some of them said he was not. So she sent a bowl of milk to him while his camel was standing still and he drank.

عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ کَانَتْ تَصُومُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ يَدْفَعُ الْإِمَامُ ثُمَّ تَقِفُ حَتَّی يَبْيَضَّ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ تَدْعُو بِشَرَابٍ فَتُفْطِرُ-

قاسم بن محمد سے روایت ہے کہ ام المومنین عرفہ کے روز روزہ رکھتی تھیں قاسم نے کہا میں نے دیکھا کہ عرفہ کی شام کو جب امام چلا تو وہ ٹھہری رہیں یہاں تک کہ زمین صاف ہوگئی پھر ایک پیالہ پانی کا منگایا اور روزہ افطار کیا ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad that A'isha, umm al-muminin, used to fast on the day of Arafa . Al-Qasim said, "I saw her, when the imam began moving away (after sunset) on the afternoon of Arafa, stay where she was until the ground between her and the people became clear. Then she asked for something to drink and broke her fast."
