دعا کے بیان میں

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِکُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُو بِهَا فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فِي الْآخِرَةِ-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر نبی کے لئے ایک دعا مقرر ہے جو ضرور قبول ہوتی ہے اور میں چاہتا ہوں کہ اس دعا کو اٹھا رکھوں اپنی امت کی شفاعت کے واسطے دن آخرت کے۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Every prophet is given a supplication (dua), and I wish to preserve my dua as intercession for my community in the next world.

عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ فَالِقَ الْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَاعِلَ اللَّيْلِ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ حُسْبَانًا اقْضِ عَنِّي الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنِي مِنْ الْفَقْرِ وَأَمْتِعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَقُوَّتِي فِي سَبِيلِكَ-

یحیی بن سعید کو پہنچا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دعا مانگتے تھے پس فرماتے تھے اے اللہ پیدا کر نے والے صبح کو اور رات کو راحت بنانے والے اور سورج اور چاند کے حساب سے چلانے والے ادا کر تو قرض میرا اور غنی کر مجھ کو محتاجی سے اور فائدہ دے مجھ کو میرے کان اور آنکھ سے اور میری قوت سے اپنی راہ میں ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say the following dua, "O Allah, it is You who makes the dawn break and makes the night a time for rest and appoints the sun and moon to reckon by. Relieve me of debt and enrich me from poverty and let me enjoy my hearing, my sight and my strength in Your way." Allahumma faliqa'l isbah, wa ja ila'l-layli sakana, wa'sh-shamsi wa'l-qamari husbana. Iqda anniy addayna, wa'ghnaniy mina'l faqr. Na'mti aniy bi samiy wa basariy, wa quwwatiy fi sabilik.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُکُمْ إِذَا دَعَا اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنْ شِئْتَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إِنْ شِئْتَ لِيَعْزِمْ الْمَسْأَلَةَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا مُکْرِهَ لَهُ-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ نے فرمایا جب کوئی تم میں سے دعا کرے تو یوں نہ کہے یا خدا بخش دے مجھ کو اگر چاہے تو اور رحم کر ہم پر اگر چاہے تو بلکہ یوں کہے بخش دے مجھ کو اس لئے کہ اللہ جل جلالہ پر کوئی جبر کرنے والا نہیں ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ''When you are making dua do not say; 'O Allah, forgive me if You wish. O Allah, forgive me if you wish.' You should be firm in your asking, for there is no compelling Him."

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُسْتَجَابُ لِأَحَدِکُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ فَيَقُولُ قَدْ دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا قبول ہوتی ہے جب تک دعا مانگنے والا جلدی نہ کرے اور یہ کہنے لگے کہ میں نے دعا کی سو دعا میری قبول نہ ہوئی ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Ubayd, the mawla of Ibn Azhar, from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "You will be answered as long as you are not impatient and say, 'I have made a dua and I have not been answered .' "

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَکَ وَتَعَالَی کُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَی السَّمَائِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَی ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اترتا ہے رب ہمارا ہر رات کو آسمان دنیا تک جب تہائی رات باقی رہتی ہے سو فرماتا ہے کون شخص ہے جو دعا کرے مجھ سے اور قبول کروں میں دعا اس کی، کون شخص ہے مانگے مجھ سے پس دوں میں اس کو، کون شخص ہے جو بخشش چاہے مجھ سے سو بخش دوں اس کو ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Abdullah al-Agharr and from Abu Salama from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends every night to the heaven of this world when the last third of the night is still to come and says, 'Who will call on Me so that I may answer him? Who will ask Me so that I may give him? Who will ask forgiveness of Me so that I may forgive him?' "

عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ کُنْتُ نَائِمَةً إِلَی جَنْبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَفَقَدْتُهُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَسْتُهُ بِيَدِي فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَی قَدَمَيْهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ يَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاکَ مِنْ سَخَطِکَ وَبِمُعَافَاتِکَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِکَ وَبِکَ مِنْکَ لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَائً عَلَيْکَ أَنْتَ کَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَی نَفْسِکَ-

محمد بن ابراہیم سے روایت ہے کہ ام المومنین نے کہا میں سو رہی تھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پہلو میں سو نہ پایا میں نے ان کو پس چھوا میں نے آپ کو تو رکھا میں نے ہاتھ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے قدموں پر اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ میں تھے فرماتے تھے پناہ مانگتا ہوں ہو تیری رضامندی کی تیرے غصے سے اور تیری عفو کی تیرے عتاب سے اور تجھ سے میں تیری تعریف نہیں کر سکتا تو ایسا ہے جس طرح تو نے اپنی تعریف خود کی ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith at-Taymi that A'isha, umm al-muminin said, "I was sleeping by the side of the Messenger of Allah, mayAllah bless him and grant him peace, and I missed him in the night, so I felt for him with my hand and I put my hand on his feet and he was in sajda saying, 'I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and in You from You. I cannot enumerate Your praises as You praise Yourself.' " Audhu bi ridaka min sakhatika, wa bi muafatika min uqubatika wa bika minka, la uhsiy thana'an alayka, anta kama athnayta ala nafsika.

عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ کَرِيزٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَفْضَلُ الدُّعَائِ دُعَائُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَأَفْضَلُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْلِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيکَ لَهُ-

طلحہ بن عبیداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا افضل دعاؤں میں دعا عرفہ کے دن کی ہے اور افضل ان سب کلمات میں جو میں نے کہے ہیں اور اگلے پیغمبروں نے لا الہ الا اللہ وحدہ لا شریک لہ ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad from Talha ibn Ubaydullah ibn Kariz that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa, and the best thing that I or the Prophets before me have said is 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner' (La ilaha illa'llah, wahdahu la sharika lah.)"

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُعَلِّمُهُمْ هَذَا الدُّعَائَ کَمَا يُعَلِّمُهُمْ السُّورَةَ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ-

عبداللہ بن عباس سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سکھاتے تھے ان کو یہ دعا جیسے سکھاتے تھے ان کو ایک سورت قرآن کی فرماتے تھے اے اللہ پناہ مانگتا ہوں میں تیری جہنم کے عذاب سے اور پناہ مانگتا ہوں تیری دجال کے فتنہ سے اور پناہ مانگتا ہوں تیری زندگی اور موت کے فتنہ سے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'zZubayr al-Makki from Tawus al-Yamani from Abdullah ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to teach this dua in the same way that he would teach them a sura of the Qur'an, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of Jahannam, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death." Allahumma inniy audhu bika min adhabi jahannama, wa audhu bika min adhabi'l-qabri, wa audhu bika min fitnati'l-mahya wa mamati.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا قَامَ إِلَی الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيَّامُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَقَوْلُکَ الْحَقُّ وَوَعْدُکَ الْحَقُّ وَلِقَاؤُکَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِکَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْکَ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْکَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِکَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْکَ حَاکَمْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَأَخَّرْتُ وَأَسْرَرْتُ وَأَعْلَنْتُ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ-

عبداللہ بن عباس سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب کھڑے ہوتے نماز کو عین رات میں فرماتے یا اللہ سب تعریفیں تیرے لیے ہیں، تو نور ہے آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اور سب تعریفیں تیرے لیے ہیں ، اور تو ہی قائم رکھنے والا ہے آسمانوں اور زمینوں کو ، اور سب تعریفیں تیرے لیے ہیں اور تو ہی پروردگار ہے آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اور ان کا جو آسمان اور زمین کے بیچ میں ہیں تو حق ہے تیرا قول سچا ہے تیرا وعدہ برحق ہے تجھ سے ملنا حق ہے جنت وجہنم حق ہے قیامت حق ہے اے پروردگار تیرے حکم کا میں تابعدار ہوں اور تجھ پر ایمان لایا اور تجھ ہی پر بھروسہ کیا اور تیری ہی طرف متوجہ ہوا اور تیری مدد سے میں لڑا کفار سے اور تجھ کو میں نے حاکم بنایا جب اختلاف ہوا سو بخش دے میرے اگلے اور پچھلے اور چھپے اور کھلے گناہ تو میرا معبود ہے تیرے سوا کوئی سچا معبود نہیں ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zubayr al-Makki from Tawus al-Yamani from Abdullah ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, when he rose for prayer in the middle of the night, "O Allah, praise belongs to You. You are the light of the heavens and the earth and praise belongs toYou.You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and praise belongs to You. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. You are the Truth, and Your words are true. Your promise is true, and the meeting with You is true. The Garden is true and the Fire is true and the Hour is true. O Allah, I submit toYou and I accept You and I trust in You and I turn to You and I argue by You and I summon toYou for judgement. Forgive me what I have sent before me and what I have left behind, what I have kept secret and what I have proclaimed, You are my god - there is no god but You." Allahumma laka'l-hamdu anta nuru's-samawati wa'l-ardi, wa laka'l-hamdu anta qayamu's-Samawati wa'l-ardi, wa laka'l-hamdu anta rabbu's-Samawati wa'l-ardi,wamanfihina.Anta'l-haqqu,waqawluka'lhaqqu, wa waduka'l-haqqu, wa liqa'uka haqqun, wa jannatu haqqun, wa naru haqqun, wa sactu haqqun. Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa bikaamantu, waalayka tawakaltu, wa ilayka anabtu, wa bika khasamtu, wa ilayka hakamtu, fa'ghfirliy ma qadamtu wa akhartu wa asrartu, wa alantu. Anta ilahiy, la ilaha illa ant.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيکٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ جَائَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فِي بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَهِيَ قَرْيَةٌ مِنْ قُرَی الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ أَيْنَ صَلَّی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَسْجِدِکُمْ هَذَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ نَعَمْ وَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَی نَاحِيَةٍ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الثَّلَاثُ الَّتِي دَعَا بِهِنَّ فِيهِ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِهِنَّ فَقُلْتُ دَعَا بِأَنْ لَا يُظْهِرَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ وَلَا يُهْلِکَهُمْ بِالسِّنِينَ فَأُعْطِيَهُمَا وَدَعَا بِأَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ فَمُنِعَهَا قَالَ صَدَقْتَ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَلَنْ يَزَالَ الْهَرْجُ إِلَی يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ-

عبداللہ بن عبداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر ہمارے پاس آئے بنی معاویہ میں اور وہ ایک گاؤں ہے انصار کے گاؤں میں سے تو پوچھا مجھ سے تم کو معلوم ہے کس جگہ پر نماز پڑھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میں نے کہا ہاں عبداللہ بن عمر نے کہا بتاؤ مجھ کو میں نے کہا دعا کی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس امر کی، کہ مسلمانوں پر کوئی دشمن ان کی غیر قوم کا یعنی کافروں میں سے مسلط نہ کرنا اور ان کو قحط سے ہلاک نہ کرنا تو یہ دونوں دعائیں قبول ہوگئیں تیسری دعا یہ ہے کہ مسلمانوں کی آپس میں خون اور جنگ نہ ہو تو یہ دعا قبول نہ ہوئی عبداللہ بن عمر نے کہا سچ کہا تو نے پھر کہا کہ اب قیامت تک فساد آپس میں چلتا جائے گا

Yahya related to me from Malik that Abdullah ibn Abdullah ibn Jabir ibn Atik said that Abdullah ibn Umar had come to them in Bani Muawiya, one of the villages of the Ansar, and said, "Do you know where the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed in this mosque of yours? "I told him, "Yes," and I pointed out a place near where he was. He said, "Do you know the three things for which he made dua here?" I said "Yes." He said, "Tell me them then." I said, "He asked that He would not make an enemy from among the non-believers triumph over the believers and that He would not destroy the believers by bad harvests, and he was given both these things. And he asked that He would not make the believers fight among themselves, and that was refused." Ibn Umar said, "You have told the truth," and he added, "Turmoil will not cease until the day of rising."

عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّهُ کَانَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ دَاعٍ يَدْعُو إِلَّا کَانَ بَيْنَ إِحْدَی ثَلَاثٍ إِمَّا أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ لَهُ وَإِمَّا أَنْ يُدَّخَرَ لَهُ وَإِمَّا أَنْ يُکَفَّرَ عَنْهُ-

زید بن اسلم سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے تھے جو شخص دعا کرتا ہے تو اس کی دعا تین حال سے خالی نہیں ہوتی یا قبول ہو جاتی ہے یا رکھ لی جاتی ہے قیامت کے دن پر یا گناہوں کا کفارہ ہو جاتی ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik that Zayd ibn Aslam used to say, "No-one makes a dua without one of three things happening. Either it is answered, or it is stored up for him, or wrong actions are atoned for by it."
