کتاب الطہارة

جن امورات سے وضو لازم نہیں آتا ان کا بیان

عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَکَانِ الْقَذِرِ قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ-

ابراہیم بن عبدالرحمن کی ام ولد نے پوچھا ام المومنین ام سلمہ سے کہ میرا دامن نیچا اور لمبا رہتا ہے اور ناپاک جگہ میں چلنے کا اتفاق ہوتا ہے تو کہا ام سلمہ نے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پاک کرتا ہے اس کو جو بعد اس کے ہے

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Umara from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim that the mother of the son of Ibrahim ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf questioned Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, "I am a woman who wears a long skirt and (sometimes) I walk in dirty places." Umm Salama replied, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'What follows (i.e. clean places) purifies it.' "

عَنْ مَالِک أَنَّهُ رَأَی رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَقْلِسُ مِرَارًا وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا يَنْصَرِفُ وَلَا يَتَوَضَّأُ حَتَّی يُصَلِّيَ-

امام مالک کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ربیعہ بن ابی عبدالرحمن کو دیکھا کئی مرتبہ انہوں نے قے کی پانی کی اور وہ مسجد میں تھے پھر وضو نہیں کیا اور نماز پڑھ لی۔

Yahya related to me from Malik that he saw Rabia ibn Abd ar-Rahman vomit several times when he was in the mosque and he did not leave, nor did he do wudu before he prayed. Yahya said that Malik was asked whether a man who vomited food had to do wudu and he said, "He does not have to do wudu, but he should rinse the inside of his mouth and wash his mouth out."

عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَنَّطَ ابْنًا لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَحَمَلَهُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّی وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ-

نافع سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر نے خوشبو لگائی سعید بن زید کے بچے کو جو میت تھا اور اٹھایا اس کو پھر مسجد میں آئے اور نماز پڑھی اور وضو نہ کیا۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar prepared the body of one of Said ibn Zayd's sons for burial and carried it and then entered the mosque and prayed without doing wudu. Yahya said that Malik was asked whether it was necessary to do wudu because of regurgitating undigested food and he said, "No, wudu is not necessary, but the mouth should be rinsed."
