کتاب الصلوة

جس شخص نے دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر بھولے سے سلام پھیر دیا اس کا بیان

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ أَقَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ نَعَمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّی رَکْعَتَيْنِ أُخْرَيَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ کَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ کَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سلام پھیر دیا دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر تو کہا ذوالیدین نے کیا نماز گھٹ گئی یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھول گئے۔ رسول آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا لوگوں سے کیا سچ کہتا ہے ذوالیدین، کہا لوگوں نے ہاں سچ کہتا ہے پس کھڑے ہوئے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور پڑھیں دو رکعتیں پھر سلام پھیر کر تکبیر کہی اور سجدہ کیا مثل سجدوں کے یا کچھ بڑا پھر سرا اٹھایا اور تکبیر کہی اور سجدہ کیا مثل سجدوں کے یا کچھ بڑا پھر سر اٹھایا ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ayyub ibn Abi Tamima as-Sakhtayani from Muhammad ibn Sirin from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished the prayer after two rakas and Dhu'l-Yadayn said to him, "Has the prayer been shortened or have you forgotten, Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Has Dhu'l-Yadayn spoken the truth?" The people said, "Yes," and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood and prayed the other two rakas and then said, "Peace be upon you." Then he said, "Allah is greater" and went into a sadja as long as his usual prostrations or longer. Then he came up and said, "Allah is greater" and went into a sajda as long as his usual prostrations or longer and then came up.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ أَقَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ نَعَمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ أُخْرَيَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ-

ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ نماز پڑھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عصر کی تو سلام پھیر دیا دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر پس کھڑا ہوا ذوالیدین اور کہا کیا نماز کم ہوگئی یا بھول گئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کوئی بات نہیں ہوئی متوجہ ہوئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں پر اور کہا کیا ذوالیدین سچ کہتا ہے لوگوں نے کہا ہاں پس اٹھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور تمام کیا جس قدر نماز باقی تھی پھر دو سجدے کئے بعد سلام کے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھے تھے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Da'ud ibn al-Husayn that Abu Sufyan, the mawla of Ibn Abi Ahmad, said that he heard Abu Hurayra say, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed asr and said the taslim after two rakas. Dhu'l-Yadayn stood up and said, 'Has the prayer been shortened, Messenger of Allah, or have you forgotten?' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood up and completed what remained of the prayer, and then, remaining sitting after saying the taslim, he made two prostrations."

عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَکَعَ رَکْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ إِحْدَی صَلَاتَيْ النَّهَارِ الظُّهْرِ أَوْ الْعَصْرِ فَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ أَقَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمْ نَسِيتَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا قَصُرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَمَا نَسِيتُ فَقَالَ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ قَدْ کَانَ بَعْضُ ذَلِکَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَی النَّاسِ فَقَالَ أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَمَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ-

ابی بکر بن سلیمان سے روایت ہے کہ پہنچا مجھ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں ظہر یا عصر کی پھر سلام پھیر دیا تو کہا ذولشمالین اور وہ ایک شخص تھا بنی زہرہ بن کلاب سے کہ نماز کم ہوگئی یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھول گئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نہ نماز کم ہوئی نہ میں بھولا ذوالشمالین نے کہا کچھ تو ہوا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پس متوجہ ہوئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں پر اور کہا کیا ذوالیدین سچ کہتا ہے لوگوں نے کہا ہاں تو تمام کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے باقی نماز کو پھر سلام پھیرا ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Abu Bakr ibn Sulayman ibn Abi Hathma said, "I have heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed two rakas of one of the two day-ti me prayers, dhuhr or asr, and said the taslim after two rakas. Dhu'sh-Shamalayn said to him, 'Has the prayer been shortened, Messenger of Allah, or have you forgotten?' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'The prayer has not been shortened and I have not forgotten.' Dhu'shShamalayn said, 'It was certainly one of those, Messenger of Allah.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, approached the people and said, 'Has Dh u'sh-Shamalayn spoken the truth?' They said, 'Yes, Messenger of Allah,' and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, completed what remained of the prayer, and then said, 'Peace be upon you.' "

عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ-

سعید بن مسیب اور ابی سلمہ بن عبدالرحمن سے بھی یہ حدیث اسی طرح مروی ہے ۔

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyab, and from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman, the same as that. Malik said, "Every forgetfulness which decreases from the prayer, prostrations for it come before the greeting, and every forgetfulness which is an addition to the prayer, prostrations for it come after the greeting."
