پہرا دینے کی فضیلت

قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْکَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ رَابَطَ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ کَانَ لَهُ کَأَجْرِ صِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا أُجْرِيَ لَهُ مِثْلُ ذَلِکَ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ الرِّزْقُ وَأَمِنَ مِنْ الْفَتَّانِ-

حارث بن مسکین، ابن وہب، عبدالرحمن بن شریح، عبدالکریم بن حارث، ابوعبیدہ بن عقبہ، شرجیل بن سمط، حضرت سلمان خیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جس شخص نے راہ خدا میں ایک دن اور ایک رات پہرا دیا تو اس شخص کو ایک مہینہ روزہ کا ثواب ملا اور جو شخص پہرا دینے کی حالت میں مر گیا تو اس کے واسطے جاری رہے گا اس قدر اجر و ثواب اور اس کا رزق جاری رہے گا اور وہ شخص فتنہ ڈالنے والے کے فساد سے بچ گیا۔

It was narrated that Salman said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: ‘Whoever guards Ribat (the frontier) in the cause of Allah for one day and one night, he will have (a reward) like that of fasting and praying Qiyam for a month. If he dies he will continue to receive reward for what he did, and he will be kept safe from Al Fattan, and he will be given provision.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ مَکْحُولٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ رَابَطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً کَانَتْ لَهُ کَصِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ فَإِنْ مَاتَ جَرَی عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ الَّذِي کَانَ يَعْمَلُ وَأَمِنَ الْفَتَّانَ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ-

عمرو بن منصور، عبداللہ بن یوسف، لیث، ایوب بن موسی، مکحول، شرجیل بن سمط، حضرت سلمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جس شخص نے راہ خدا میں ایک دن اور ایک رات پہرا دیا تو اس کو ایک مہینہ کے روزے نماز کا ثواب ملے گا اور اس کا کام جاری رہے گا جو وہ انجام دے رہا تھا اور وہ شخص قبر اور حشر کے فتنوں سے محفوظ رہا اور اس کا رزق موقوف نہ ہوگا ۔

It was narrated from Zuhrah bin Ma’bad: “Abu Salib, the freed slave of ‘Uthman, said: ‘I heard ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan say: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: Riba(guarding the frontier) for one day in the cause of Allah is better in rank than a thousand days spent within the residence.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ مَوْلَی عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ يَوْمٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنْ الْمَنَازِلِ-

عمرو بن منصور، عبداللہ بن یوسف، لیث، زہرہ، معبد، ابوصالح، حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا ایک دن کا راہ خدا میں پہرا دینا ہزار دنوں سے بہتر ہے اور ہزار درجات سے افضل ہے۔

It was narrated that Abu Salib, the freed slave of ‘Uthman, said: “Uthman bin ‘Affan said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: A day in the cause of Allah is better than a thousand days doing anythingelse. (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهْرَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ مَوْلَی عُثْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ يَوْمٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ-

عمرو بن علی، عبدالرحمن بن مہدی، ابن مبارک، ابومعن، زہرہ بن معبد، ابوصالح، حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا راہ خدا میں ایک دن ہزار دنوں سے بہتر ہے۔

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: “When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم went to Quba’ he used to come to Umm Haram bint Milhan and she would feed him. Umm Haram was married to ‘Ubadah bin A The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم entered upon her and she fed him and checked his head for lice. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم fell asleep, then he woke up smiling. She said: ‘What is making you smile, Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم?’ He said: ‘Some people of my Ummah were shown to me, fighting in the cause of Allah and riding across the sea like kings on thrones.’ I said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, pray to Allah to make me one of them.’ So the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم prayed for her, then he slept again.” (One of the narrators) Al-Harith, said (in his narration): “He slept then he woke up smiling. I said to him: ‘What is making you smile, Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم?’ He said: ‘Some people of my Ummah were shown to me, fighting in the cause of Allah and riding across the sea like kings on thrones,’ as he had said the first time. I said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, pray to Allah to make me one of them.’ He said: ‘You will be one of the first.’ And she traveled by sea at the time of Muawiyah, then she fell from her mount when she came out of the sea and died.” (Sahih)
