نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو کفن کتنے کپڑے میں دیا گیا؟

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کُفِّنَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ بِيضٍ-

اسحاق ، عبدالرزاق، معمر، زہری، عروہ، عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنھا سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم (ملک یمن کے ایک گاؤں) سحول کے تین سفید کپڑوں میں کفن دیا گیا جن میں پگڑی اور عمامہ نہیں تھا۔

Hisham narrated from his father, from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم was shrouded in three white Yemeni garments of cotton, among which was no shirt and no turban. It was mentioned to ‘Aishah that they said: “He was buried in two garments and a Burd made of Hibrah.” She said: “A Burd was brought, but they sent it back and did not shroud him in it.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ-

قتیبہ، مالک، ہشام بن عروہ، عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنھا سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سحول کے (کپڑے کی ایک قسم) تین سفید کپڑے سے کفن دیئے گئے اور اس میں قمیض اور عمامہ نہیں تھا۔

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said: “When ‘Abdullah bin Ubayy died, his son came to the Prophet and said: ‘Give me your shirt so that I may shroud him in it, and (come and) offer the (funeral) prayer for him, and pray for forgiveness for him.’ So he gave him his shirt then he said: ‘When you have finished, inform me and I will offer the (funeral) prayer for him.’ But ‘Umar stopped him and said: ‘Hasn’t Allah forbidden you to offer the (funeral) prayer for the hypocrites?’ He said: ‘I have two options. Whether you ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites) or ask no forgiveness for them.” So he offered the (funeral) prayer for him. Then Allah, Most High, revealed: ‘And never pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave.’ So he stopped offering the (funeral) prayer for them.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ يَمَانِيَةٍ کُرْسُفٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ فَذُکِرَ لِعَائِشَةَ قَوْلُهُمْ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَبُرْدٍ مِنْ حِبَرَةٍ فَقَالَتْ قَدْ أُتِيَ بِالْبُرْدِ وَلَکِنَّهُمْ رَدُّوهُ وَلَمْ يُکَفِّنُوهُ فِيهِ-

قتیبہ، حفص، ہشام، عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنھا سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ملک یمن کے تین کپڑوں میں جو کہ روئی کے تھے ان میں کفن دیا گیا ان میں نہ کرتا تھا اور نہ عمامہ شامل تھا۔ پھر حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنھا سے تذکرہ ہوا کہ دو کپڑے اور ایک چادر تھی ملک یمن کی؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ملک یمن کی چادر آئی تھی۔ لیکن لوگوں نے اس کو واپس کر دیا اور اس کو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے کفن میں نہیں شامل کیا۔

It was narrated from Sufyan, from ‘Amr who said he heard Jabir say: “The Prophetcame to the grave of ‘Abdullah bin Ubayy when he had been placed in his grave and stood over it. He commanded that he be brought out to him and placed on his knees, and he dressed him in his shirt and blew on him (for blessing). And Allah knows best.” (Sahih)
