مرنے والے پر رونے سے متعلق

أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا حُضِرَتْ بِنْتٌ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَغِيرَةٌ فَأَخَذَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضَمَّهَا إِلَی صَدْرِهِ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَقَضَتْ وَهِيَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَکَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ أَتَبْکِينَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَکِ فَقَالَتْ مَا لِي لَا أَبْکِي وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْکِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَبْکِي وَلَکِنَّهَا رَحْمَةٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِخَيْرٍ عَلَی کُلِّ حَالٍ تُنْزَعُ نَفْسُهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ جَنْبَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ-

ہناد بن سری، ابواحوص، عطاء بن سائب، عکرمة، عبداللہ ابن عباس سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ایک چھوٹی لڑکی کی وفات کا وقت آگیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس کو اٹھا کر اپنے سینہ مبارک سے لگا لیا پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اس پر رکھ دیئے اس لڑکی کی وفات آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے سامنے ہوگئی اس پر حضرت ام ایمن رونے لگ گئیں حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا اے ام ایمن تم کس وجہ سے رو رہی ہو جب کہ میں موجود ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا میں کس وجہ سے نہ رؤں؟ جب کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے رسول روتے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا میں نہیں روتا لیکن یہ رحمت خداوندی ہے یعنی آہستہ سے رونا اور صرف آنسو نکلنا بندہ پر خداوند قدوس کا رحم ہے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہر ایک حالت میں مسلمان کی بہتری ہے اور مسلمان کی روح پسلیوں سے نکلتی ہے لیکن وہ خدا تعالیٰ کا شکر بجا لاتا ہے۔

It was narrated from Jabir that his father was killed on the day of Uhud. He said: “I started to uncover his face, weeping. The people told me not to do that but the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم did not forbid me. My paternal aunt started to weep, and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Do not weep, for angels kept on shading him with their wings until you lifted him up.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بَکَتْ عَلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ مَاتَ فَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَتَاهُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ مَا أَدْنَاهُ يَا أَبَتَاهُ إِلَی جِبْرِيلَ نَنْعَاهْ يَا أَبَتَاهُ جَنَّةُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ مَأْوَاهُ-

اسحاق بن ابراہیم، عبدالرزاق، معمر، ثابت، انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جس وقت حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی وفات ہوگئی تو حضرت فاطمہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی وفات پر رونے لگ گئیں اور عرض کرنے لگیں کہ اے میرے والد تم اپنے پروردگار کے نزدیک آگئے اے میرے والد ماجد! میں تمہاری وفات کی خبر حضرت جبرائیل تک پہنچاتی ہوں اے میرے والد! تمہارا مقام جنت ہے۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Atik that ‘Atik bin Al-Harith — who was the grandfather of ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdullah, his mother’s father — told him that Jabir bin ‘Atik told him that the Prophet s came to visit ‘Abdullah bin Thabit (when he was sick) and found him very close to death. He called out to him and he did not respond, so the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return,” and said: “We wanted you to live but we were overtaken by the decree of Allah, Abu Ar-RabI’.” The women screamed and wept, and Ibn ‘Atik started telling them to be quiet. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Leave them; when the inevitable comes, no one should Weep.” They said: “What is the mevitable, Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم?” He said: “Death.” His daughter said: “I had hoped that you would become a martyr, for you had prepared yourself for it.” The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has rewarded him according to his intention. What do you think martyrdom is?” They said: “Being killed for the sake of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Martyrdom is of seven types besides being killed for the sake of Allah. The one who dies of the plague is a martyr; the one who dies of an abdominal illness is a martyr; the one who drowns is a martyr; the one who is crushed by a falling building is a martyr; the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr; the one who is burned to death is a martyr, and the woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr.” (Sahih).

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْکَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ قَالَ فَجَعَلْتُ أَکْشِفُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَأَبْکِي وَالنَّاسُ يَنْهَوْنِي وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنْهَانِي وَجَعَلَتْ عَمَّتِي تَبْکِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَبْکِيهِ مَا زَالَتْ الْمَلَائِکَةُ تُظِلُّهُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا حَتَّی رَفَعْتُمُوهُ-

عمروبن یزید، بہزبن اسد، شعبہ، محمد بن منکدر، جابر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ غزوہ احد کے دن میرے والد شہید ہو گئے تو میں ان کے چہرے سے چادر ہٹاتا اور روتا تھا۔ صحابہ مجھے روکتے تھے لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایسا نہیں کیا۔ پھر میری چچی بھی رونے لگیں تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا (اپنے شوہر پر) مت رو کیونکہ تم نے اسے اٹھایا نہیں بلکہ اس پر تو ملائکہ اپنے پروں سے سایہ کئے ہوئے تھے۔

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “When news of the death of Zaid bin Harithah, Ja’far bin Abi Talib and ‘Abdullah bin Rawahah was announced, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sat down and it could be seen that he was grieving. I was looking through a crack in the door, and a man came and said: ‘Ja’far’s womenfolk are weeping.’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Go and prevent them.’ He went away, then he came back, and said: ‘I told them not to do that, but they refused to stop.’ He said: ‘Go and prevent them.’ He went away, then he came back, and said: ‘I told them not to do that, but they refused to stop. He said: ‘Throw dust in their mouths.” ‘Aishah said: “I said: ‘May Allah rub his nose in the dust, the one who is over there! You did not leave the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم alone but you were not going to do (what he told you to do).” (Sahih)
