It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that a man came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said: “I have a wife who is one of the most beloved of the people to me, but she does not object if anyone touches her.” He said: “Divorce her.” He said: “I cannot do without her.” He said: “Then stay with her as much as you need to.”
Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) ireliable. ‘Abdul-Karim is not that strong (a narrator) and Harun bin Ri’ah is more reliable than him, and he narrated it in Mursal form. Harftn is trustworthy, and his narration is more worthy of being considered correct than ‘Abdul-KarIm’s narration.
