He went down the middle of the valley, stood opposite it — meaning the Jamrah — and threw seven pebbles at it, saying the Takbir with each pebble. I said: “Some people climbed the mountain.” He said: “Here — by the One beside Whom there is no other God — is the place where the one to whom Slirat Al-Ba qarah was revealed stoned.” (Sahih)
