It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "A man stood up and said to the Prophet P.B.U.H : '0 Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H What makes Hajj obligatory?' He said: 'Provision and a mount.' He said: '0 Messenger of Allah, what is the (real) Hajj?' He said: 'The one with disheveled hair and no perfume.' Another (man) stood up and said: '0 Messenger of Allah, what is the (real) Hajj?' He said: Raising one's voice and slaughtering the sacrificial animal." (Da'if) Waki’ said: “The me of Al-Hajj is raising the voice with the Talbiyah and Ath-Thajj is performing the Nahr (sacrifice) on the camel."
